About This Spot

Stepping into Zimbali Beach Club feels like entering a vibrant family sanctuary where the rhythm of laughter and splash of pool water mingle effortlessly with the warmth of shared meals. Nestled within the lush embrace of Zimbali Estate, this spot pulses with an easy energy—the kind that encourages you to settle in without pretense, whether you’re chasing a lively afternoon with little ones or enjoying a spirited gathering of friends and family.

The atmosphere at Zimbali Beach Club is a bright and bustling mosaic of joyful moments—kids weaving through the poolside, adults swapping stories over a carefully crafted mojito or a crisp gin and tonic. It moves at a pace that’s both lively and unhurried, where the hum of activity creates a backdrop just as much a part of the experience as the food that arrives at your table. It’s a place where the casual clink of glasses and the occasional playful splash blend into the soundtrack of a well-spent day.

Food here doesn’t just fill a need—it invites connection. It’s the kind of menu that feels thoughtfully designed to complement the vibe: fresh and approachable with just the right touch of indulgence. Think of shared plates that spark conversation, like perfectly seasoned calamari or crisp wraps that carry familiar flavors with a little twist, all served with a generous dose of warmth. Whether you’re eyeing a strawberry daiquiri or a tequila sunrise, the drinks seem crafted to keep spirits lifted and the mood light.

This is a venue that embraces its role as a family haven, welcoming the joyful noise and occasional splash as part and parcel of the day. It’s less about quiet repose and more about vibrant togetherness—a place where you don’t just come to relax, but to feel part of something lively and well-loved. Service may ebb and flow with the tide of guests, but what stands out most is the genuine care extending from the team, ensuring every visitor finds a comfortable spot in the spirited flow of the club.

In essence, Zimbali Beach Club offers a nuanced experience: not a quiet retreat by the water’s edge, but a spirited gathering place where the pulse of family life and good food coexist with ease and warmth.

Food was great. Ordered the fried butternut ravioli, so tasty. Service was great. You will need to pay R300 upfront per person that will go towards your bill. Gets noisy with the kids playing the pool. You probably will get wet. I would say more suitable for people with kids than if you're looking to relax by the pool and read a book.

Trendy vibe with different seating areas. Great place to relax & enjoy the pool. Food was delectable, that chicken livers sauce is one of a kind! It can get quite crowded making it difficult to move around & loud which takes away from the experience.

This is a great place to be especially during festive season with family. The food is fooding, the vibe is vibing but do expect the service to be a bit slow as the waiters do get overwhelmed by the influx of people.

Always love coming to Zimbali Beach Club. R300 deposit per person that gets taken off your bill if you are not a resident. Had amazing steak pizza and Mojito (which wasn’t on the menu) All staff were awesome.

Exceptional service all around! We had a lovely time with 12 kids and every single one of us was well taken care of by Sam our waitress. Sam took care of us from the moment we came until we left, her service was beautiful.
